How to enclose 300,000 cubic-feet of space for an indoor waterslide? The use of a metal building system was the economical solution. Adjacent to a new hotel-condominium-restaurant project in Ocean Shores, Washington, this building also incorporates insulated metal "sandwich" panels for roof & walls for maximum energy savings and resistance to the physically demanding moisture environment. Extensive use of glazing, including high clerestory windows on the ocean side, lend the space an outdoor feel.
