A 14,800 square-foot manufacturing and office facility for a precision aircraft parts manufacturer, including 4,000 square-feet of two-story finished office areas, on a 1.78 acre site in Fife, Washington. Exterior walls are concrete tilt-up, with a pre-engineered metal roof system. As with most of our commercial projects, this one was done on a team basis, with the general contractor providing cost estimates and constructability input during the design process.
The two-story office is conventional stick-frame construction, skinned with prefinished metal panels and concrete tilt-up wall panels -but is still under the main metal building roof system for maximum cost efficiencies and lower long-term maintenance.
